SLOW-PCfighter aims to cure your PC of sluggishness by checking out and repairing a selection of common problem areas, among them registry keys, file associations and shared DLLs. The scanning process is very easy - you click on the large orange Start Error Search button and SLOW-PCfighter will guide you though the rest.
As is fairly common with programs of this type, the trial version of SLOW-PCfighter scans your computer, but repairs only 25 of the errors it finds. Even so, it has a number of features that make using it quite easy, including auto-update, scheduling and start-up manager functions.
Some people doubt the efficiency of programs like SLOW-PCfighter, and it has to be said that the lack of advanced configuration settings is going to put experienced users off. The SLOW-PCfighter help files are only available online and, a personal gripe, there are icons on the interface for 'options' that are actually links to download other programs online. Ultimately, there was nothing very wrong with SLOW-PCfighter, but there was nothing very right either.
SLOW-PCfighter is a very average example of a program designed to speed up your computer.
